Manga Classics at TCAF 2019!

Manga Classics is thrilled to be a sponsor at this year's Toronto Comics Art Festival! On Friday, May 10th, we will be hosting the Manga Classics Coffee Break, providing coffee and tea for all attendees of Librarian & Educator Day. Wake up with a delicious brew, and learn about what the folks at Manga Classics can do for your classroom or library!

Manga Classics Chief Erik Ko will also be on hand at 1:30pm, presenting our latest offerings - our Manga Classics adaptations of beloved Shakespeare titles, completely unabridged! High School teachers in attendance will be able to get a free sample copy of Manga Classics: Romeo & Juliet! Stop by and check out Romeo & Juliet, Macbeth, and our brand new title, A Midsummer Night's Dream!

If you are interested in using Manga in your classroom but are unsure where to start, join the My Manga Academia!!! panel from 3pm - 4pm! Panel details are below, attendees will also receive a free teacher's guide for how to use Manga Classics: Romeo & Juliet in the classroom.

3pm-4pm

My Manga Academia!!!

We know our students love to read manga, but how do we use the texts they already love in our teaching? Educators Mike Barltrop and Phil Amara will show attendees how manga has impacted the way kids read, how we can link manga to the curriculum, and how teachers are already using comics in the classroom.

General details and sign-up for the day are here:

We are so excited for TCAF 2019! See you there!
